VOLUNTEERING:
Would you like to be a valuable part of the Raptor Center by
joining our staff of volunteers? No prior experience is
necessary as we provide complete training in raptor handling.
This training is critical for the safety of the volunteers as well
as the birds.

Educational presentations to the public: schools, scouts,
churches, businesses, shows or booths;
Rescue and transport;
Rehabilitation;
Obtain donations of materials or services;
Fund-raising, grant-writing;
Run errands;
Grounds-keeping and maintenance;
Habitat construction, upkeep and maintenance;
Daily food preparation and feeding;
Bird watchers (sitting with the birds while they are out on
their perches);
Habitat housekeeping;
